KULLIYYAH OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

As the backbone of the Kulliyyah, this department conducts the foundation courses to provide the Basic Health and Life Sciences knowledge to all of our students. It is hoped that the knowledge given to the students enable them to be a good and efficient health professionals during their career journey. Without a strong knowledge on the foundation, it might be difficult for them to understand and apply the advanced knowledge in their field later on. The courses conducted by Department of Biomedical Sciences are :

• Epidemiology & Research Methodology
• Developmental Psychology in Healthcare
• Introduction to Health Communication
• Critical Thinking in Healthcare
• Health Management & Administration

This Department will also be equipped with the latest world-class research facilities in a near future, in the hope of becoming the platform for Fundamental as well as Applied Life Sciences research. Hopefully this effort will be able to attract scientists and postgraduate students to join or collaborate with us and nurture good research environment.
