السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear All Respected Library Clients,
As you are aware, during MCO and CMCO, the library has been waiving all overdue books' fines until the beginning of Semester 1, 2020/2021. The announcement on this matter was made on 21st May 2020 to the IIUM Community through various mediums (IIUM Announcement, Library Webpage, Social Medias).
Semester 1, 2020/2021 has seen another change to the method of teaching and learning in IIUM due to the increased of Covid19 cases in Malaysia. Anticipating the problems students are facing to return to campus to return borrowed books, the Dar al-Hikmah Library is waiving fines to borrowed books until the end of Semester 1, 2020/2021 which is 7th February 2021.
This move means that book borrowers can continue holding on to their books until they return to campus at the beginning of Semester 2, 2020/2021.
At the same time, we welcome anyone who wants to return their borrowed books. They can do so at the Library's Bookdrop machines available in all campus libraries.
Please be informed too that until borrowed books are returned, borrowers will keep on receiving automatic notification emails from the Library system about Library fines. Please ignore the emails. However, if you need further clarification, please contact the Circulation Librarian, Mdm Siti Azizah Md Nor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
These changes take effect on all library campuses.
Please visit the Library Webpage and Social Media on any news and updates on the Library. The Library LiveChat service (via Library Webpage) and the Liaison Librarians assigned to each Kulliyyah could also be consulted for any inquiries.
