Bengkel Pengauditan Berkomputer – ACL (Audit Software) was held at Makmal Komputer, OYAGSB Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) under Institusi Kajian Strategik & Pembangunan Perakaunan Mampan (ISSAD), Pusat Pengajian Perakaunan (SOA) UUM on 28th until 30th March 2016. A number of 22 participants were involved (including accounting lecturers and Internal Auditor) during the workshop.
Madam Naaimah Ahmad Radzi was invited as the speaker for the training. She has over 20 years of working experience both in government and a private sector. During her tenure in the private sector, she served in one of the largest commercial banks in Malaysia and here experience in both consumer and commercial loans. Her last position in the private sector was as Assistant Vice President I in a multinational company with vast experience in regional auditing across various industries i.e. automotive and heavy equipment industry. She finally left the private sector to join IIUM as the Director of Internal Audit.
She has ACL hands-on practical experience in many successful reviews, process improvement and enhancement of regional audit projects in various countries including Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Brunei and Singapore. She has been selected to work with Auditors from Germany and China in a special audit assignment in a Germany-based corporation in Malaysia in 2004.
She has conducted in-house training for staff to use CAATTs in both automotive and heavy equipment divisions and developed CAATTs standard audit programs for companies under review.
Her training fortes in ACL usage would be in data extraction, data analysis and data interpretation.
During the training, participants of the course were trained and exposed to the ACL in ways of how ACL can be useful in performing audit analysis. We would like to congratulate to all participants who successfully attended this training.
