- To create and establish sustainable links and relations between IIUM, the industry and the community
- To act as a liaison office between IIUM staff and students, the industry and the community
- To coordinate IIUM staff and student attachment to industries and staff and student engagement with the community
- To manage outputs and deliverable from the established links between IIUM staff and students with relevant agencies in IIUM
