IIUM World Debate and Oratory Centre (IWON) would like to congratulate the members of the English debate team that emerged the Champions of the Islamic Economics Debate Competition 2021 organised by University of Darussalam Gontor, Indonesia. In the Grand Final held on 23^rd February 2021, IIUM Team debated against the team from University of Lampung, Indonesia on the motion “This house believes that Social Distancing Policies are steepening the recession curve and leading the financial system into a crisis.” The members of the Champion team were:  

1.    Nur Hana Izzati Abdullah Zawawi (KENMS)

2.    Arsyad Asyl Romil (KENMS)

3.    Imran Shahfizal (KENMS)
