+ InSAF - Integrated & Sustainable Agriculture Farming +

1.Integrated and Sustainable Agriculture Farming (InSAF) Research Group is established on September 2019 under International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART) at the International Islamic University Malaysia. The group aim to work towards enhancing the culture of an integrated and sustainable farming system based on the Maqasid al-Shariah for food security application and sustainable development goals.

2. Pursuant to the National Education Policy, INSAF and Mahallah Sumayyah had collaborated in a real life laboratory project in which the project aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 

3. Real Life Laboratory Project has been chosen as the flagship for our Mahallah as this program has impactful module which teaches the MRC on the farming method which aims to help in sustaining the development and environment. 

4. In the project, there are 9 modules which includes, bedding design and construction,plant bedding, solar system and others.

5. To understand the concept of sustainable agriculture by adhering to the integrated system that mimics the forest ecosystem, MRC Sumayyah and few of our residents had undergo 9 modules related to the integrated sustainable agriculture farm training. This is a joint venture project  between Mahallah Sumayyah with Integrated & Sustainable Agriculture Farming (InSAF), a Research Team under the International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART) IIUM. Mahallah Sumayyah succesfully completed this project and  aiming to serve  the society and nature better by using the knowledge and the garden that we earned throughout the project.
