Mahallah Sumayyah is one of the college in International Islamic University Malaysia which can accommodate almost 846 resident. The name of each Mahallah in IIUM is taken from the names of the Companion.The name of 'Sumayyah' was taken from the name of the first female martyr, Sumayyah binti Khubbat or syahidah in the history of Islam. It is our hope that the residents will live up to the spirit of Sumayyah binti Khubat who is indeed a servant who devoted her life only for Allah SWT and Rasullullah.
Mahallah Sumayyah is equipped with many facilities and services such as basketball court, multipurpose hall, student activity center, musolla, visitors lounge, kiosk and others. It is our hope that the facilities provided will ease the resident's daily life.
