Welcome to the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, IIUM website. I am delighted to be given this opportunity to introduce all visitors to the Kulliyyah. We are one of the six public universities that offer the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) in Malaysia. Since we started in 2002, we have successfully produced 16 cohorts of Pharmacy graduates, many of whom have already created their own names and successful career paths. The programme is accredited and conducted according to the requirement of MQA and the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. The facilities we offer for our teaching and learning are complete, right from the basic practical for characterizing dosage forms and drug dispensing, up to the implementation of GMP certified pharmaceutical manufacturing plant and hospital pharmacy services at IIUM-owned medical centre, SASMEC@IIUM, both of which are certified to be shariah compliant. The disruption that the world went through due to COVID-19 since the beginning of 2020 has revealed many innovations in the world of teaching & learning as well as research. The Kulliyyah of Pharmacy has risen through this unprecedented challenge, and created alternative ways to continue with the programme delivery. Alhamdulillah, after careful planning and execution, we were able to successfully graduate two cohorts of students in 2020 and 2021. Besides undergraduate programme, we also offer research and mixed mode postgraduate programmes, in collaboration with the Centre for Postgraduate Studies. On behalf of the kulliyyah, I am inviting you to join us to experience education with a soul, with sustainable development as the backbone and sejahtera (prosperous) as the theme of the academic programmes.
