Dear YBhg Dato’/Prof./Dr./Sir/Madam/Br./Sr.,

 SECURITY AND SAFETY REMINDER DURING EID UL FITR HOLIDAY AND GATES 2 & 3 (GOMBAK) OPERATIONAL

 May Almighty Allah strengthen your efforts and bless with success. Office of Security Management (OSeM) would like to take this opportunity to wish all IIUM Community a Happy Eid Ul Fitr 1444H/2023M.

 With the coming Eid Ul Fitr Holiday, the Office of Security Management (OSeM) would like to remind all IIUM Community to be extremely cautious about safety and security matters.

 Please take necessary precautions as follows:

 1)     Never leave all your belongings or valuables unattended at any time and at any place.

2)     Secure valuables in a locked drawer or other secured area.            

3)     Secure office/room doors, even if leaving for a short period of time, ensure manual lock or secondary lock for safety purposes.

4)     Never allow strangers to be left alone in the office or rooms.

5)     When leaving the office at the end of day, please double check that all doors and windows in the office are locked, please make sure to do manual lock or secondary lock for safety purposes (if needed).

6)     Switch off all electrical appliances such as computers, air-conditioning units, lights, etc.

7)     Any Vehicle – Motorcycle & Motorcar to park at designated parking and with double lock in the area of clear view of the public area.

8)     Report any suspicious person or activities to the Operation Room, OSeM as per below details:

To ensure maximum security, the main entrance will be 100% supervised by the Auxiliary Police personnel during the holiday. Please be informed that effective 21 April 2023 – 24 April 2023, operational hours of Gate 2 (near BMI) and Gate 3 (Near Kg. Sg Pusu) are as follows:
