About Us

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Azlan Bin Mohd Noor
Director, CLAV

Assalāmu'alaykum waramatullāhi wabarakātuhu

It has always been the goal of the Centre for Credited Leadership and Virtues (CLAV) to lead students towards excellence by facilitating them in leadership and spiritual development. CLAV helps to empower the students’ competencies and moral standard to support the university’s mission to produce a well-rounded student with the academic and co-curricular achievements. Following this spirit, CLAV courses are the complement to those of academic. The implementation is practical-oriented ranges from domestic skills to professionalism; inspires the students’ creativity and leadership skills that may not take place in their academic classrooms. Hence, the students’ involvement in the courses is essential in shaping their vision of life while preparing them for future challenges.

For over ten years of operation, CLAV continues to fulfil its functions and objectives. With this opportunity, I would like to extend my gratitude to CLAV team of Lecturers, Trainers, Instructors, and Facilitators who have given their cooperation and commitment in dealing with students and participating in various events or programs organised by our Centre. We look forward to building a strong and productive relationship with you and continuing to serve the students and the university. I also congratulate all staff under CLAV for their hard work in ensuring every matter inside and outside the office is processed efficiently. A good quality of CLAV management will not be materialised without the help of our committed officers and staff.

It is an honour for me to serve as the Director of CLAV and on behalf of the team; we look forward to opening more creative and interesting courses that will secure benefits for students. I am hopeful that every student will appreciate the opportunities given and take part in creating a pathway to success.

Thank you, Wassalām.
