OFFICE OF CORPORATE STRATEGY

OSIC is the custodian of the IIUM data warehouse. With the support from the Business Intelligence Unit under the Information Technology Division (ITD) and data owners from various IIUM Offices, all the institutional data are kept on a business intelligence dashboard called the i-Perform. In Late 2019, OSIC, led by Mr. Ahmad Ashaari Alias, initiated an enhancement of the i-Perform system to i-Perform 2.0. This on-going project consists of several phases which focused on the following:

1. Migrating the previous data into the new system
2. Enhancing the display and presentations
3. Adding new datasets
4. Incorporating elements of data analytics

Phase-1 of this project was completed towards the end of July 2020. The i-Perform 2.0 can be accessed at https://dossier.iium.edu.my. Phase-2 will commence in August 2020 with additional appointments as members to assist OSIC and the Business Intelligence Unit, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mira Kartiwi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lili Marziana Abdullah from the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT).

Phase-2 of this project was completed on early 2021. With the assistance of new additional members and ITD Business Intelligence Unit, the iPerform 2.0 was able to be translated into analytical platform and accommodate data resources from various IIUM stakeholders and data owners. For continuous monitoring of the IIUM Roadmap performance, more function and on-going data management will be incorporate in the i-Perform 2.0 system.
