On the 24th of May 2019, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Ericsson Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) organized the Connected Mangroves Challenge 2.0 Hackathon to support the development of innovative applications in environmental managements.

This event was co-organized by Celcom, Axiata XPAND and Jabatan Pengajian Tinggi (JPT) under Academia-Industry Talent Exchange Programme (AI xChange): Ceo@Faculty Programme 2.0 ‘Coached by the Pro’ and Malaysian Fisheries Society (MFS).
