Dr. Ibrahim bin Abu Bakar has started his career as Assistant Researcher at UKM and PORIM in 1995. Before joining IIUM in 2005, he had served Ministry of Health Malaysia as Food Technologist for ten years. Presently, Dr Ibrahim is an Assistant Professor at Department of Nutrition Sciences, Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences, IIUM Kuantan campus. Beside teaching, Dr. Ibrahim actively involve in research and innovation works especially in developing new halal food ingredients.
