Staff Detail


Engku Haliza Engku Ibrahim is an Associate Professor at the English Language Division of the Centre for Languages and Pre-University Academic Development. She has taught all levels of English proficiency classes including English for Academic Writing. She has also taught Semantics, Linguistics, Sociolinguistics and Research Methodology. Her main areas of research interests are second language vocabulary acquisition and reading in the second language classroom.
